OFSTED Inspection February 2007

Both the school and the out of hours club underwent an OFSTED inspection in February. As always the visit was at short notice and the staff worked very hard to prepare for the inspectors. The School was delighted to receive an overall assessment of ?Good?. This assessment is a great achievement for the staff and a fitting reward for the work of Mr Russell before he retires. The Club was also assessed to be ?Good? and so congratulations are also due to Mrs Hefford and her staff!

It is important to also thank the very high proportion of parents that returned the feedback sheet and the inspectors commented favourably on both the return rate and the support you gave to the school. The inspectors also highlighted their interactions with the children during the visit, noting their excellent social skills and behaviour. We should all feel very proud of them!
